The Chemical Dependency Center proudly presents Prevention Ministries, a training program designed to educate about the pervasive issues of substance abuse prevention and treatment, in partnership with your community-based, spiritual institutions. 

The training can be used by both clergy and laypersons to learn how to assist individuals and families affected by the disease of addiction.  

During an initial assessment, the curriculum can be modified to accommodate your particular needs, such as Seminary/Classroom, Women and Wellness, Tobacco, Prescription Drugs, etc.

The following are some of the topics available for discussion as part of the Prevention Ministry training series:  

·          Popular Drugs of Abuse and the Process of Addiction;

·          Family Addiction - Explores the reality that substance abuse and addiction affects the entire family;

·          Identification and Intervention and;

·          Implementations: Positive Strategies for Your Faith-Based Institution

* The training can be held either a t the Chemical Dependency Center ( CDC ) or your Faith-based institution.
